The Drako Medium Weight Karate Gi is made from a 10oz 100% canvas brushed cotton fabric. This fabric is comfortable and breathable, making it enjoyable to train in. In addition, cotton is hypoallergenic, ensuring that it will never irritate the skin.
Cotton fabric is highly breathable, helping to keep athletes cool while training. Its moisture wicking and absorbency properties will also help to keep the skin feeling dry. Cotton can absorb up to one fifth of its weight in water before feeling wet. Additionally, this already strong fabric is 30% stronger when wet, making it the perfect fabric for comfort and durability.
Fabric: Drako uniforms are made with the finest fabrics (We specify thread count by ounces per square yard rather than ounces per square meter). Our factories also take care to remove any material showing damage or defects from production to ensure consistent quality. All of our fabrics are pre-shrunk in order to minimize shrinkage from washing.
Design: Drako has added extra strength to all uniform stress areas. As well as, extra stitching on all the cuffs collars and seams. The pants have a unique drawstring and elastic combination. The three-piece diamond groin provides extra legroom for higher kicks and deeper stances. We continually encourage feedback from our experts and you, the customer, in order to improve our designs.
